




Student Project- 'Create a packaging to reduce consumer food waste.' For this project I researched into what foods people waste the most in their household. A lot of people said pasta and rice because they do not weigh the food/portion it before they cook it. They then cook too much of it and end up throwing it away. I designed this packaging so that consumers can measure out the correct portion before cooking it. This is done by measuring it in the lid of the packaging. I used a bright colour palette to attract the customers as looking at most pastas on the shelf in the supermarket are very dull and uninteresting. This packaging stands out on the shelf from its competitors.
